Richmond, Virginia is a city rich in community bands, many of which you can link to here.  We have also included other local links of interest.

Community Bands

Several of the following bands are similar to the Chesterfield Concert Band in that they are city or county based Concert Bands. Other instrumental groups in the area offer a different flavor, from traditional European wind band music, to symphonic music, to big band era offerings.

     Allen is a former member of our band, and still performs with the  

     European Wind Ensemble, the Richmond Pops Band and a local jazz

     pop band, Spectrum. Allen also teaches clarinet and saxophone to
